Gracelands has two large outside garden areas, providing seating, large accessible paved areas, a variety of attractive planting and exceptional views of the Cleveland Hills providing an ever changing picture of the seasons.

The gardens are accessed via large, level access doors which residents are free to exit and enter, which also provides lovely fresh clean air to the lounges.
The larger garden is accessed the light filled lounge and is much enjoyed by residents and families at all times of the year to relax, read a paper or for a game of skittles or boules!
The second garden area is accessed through the dining room, a quieter area which to relax.

With easy access to the lounge and dining room with comfortable seating this creates the perfect environment ideal for those lazy summer afternoons!
Gracelands has undoubtedly some of the most outstanding views of any care home, a picture postcard of the Cleveland Hills and their foreground.

Although especially beautiful in the summer, the aspect of the view acts as a barometer of the seasons, with snow-capped trees our favourite.

We have lots of planted shrubs and flowers many of which our residents have enjoyed tending to, actively encouraged and assisted by our activities staff.
Residents thoroughly enjoy the interaction, exercise and social benefits of tending their gardens.
