Arrangements can be made for visitors to stay overnight in the service users room if requested.

Clothing parties can be arranged in the home twice a year based on winter and summer clothing requirements. Should you require assistance with purchasing any item of clothing or other items for personal use please contact the manager who will arrange for assistance.

Residents and Relative’s Forums are held on a regular basis in the home. Notices showing times and dates will be posted in the information folder held on each floor.
In addition questionnaires and external audits are carried out on a regular basis.

The home keeps a small supply of confectionery, drinks and men's & ladies toiletries, this is kept at the reception and is available at any time. The mobile shop can be taken into residents rooms if they are not able to visit reception.

A trained counsellor can be available to any visitor, although this may need to be arranged through the Manager.

The home has an open visiting policy, which means that relatives and friends are welcome at all times. Please sign the visitor’s book kept on the reception desk when entering and leaving the building. Also, please see a member of staff before visiting a resident, this allows us to ensure that visits do not disturb any treatments that the resident requires and also ensures compliance with the fire procedure should an evacuation take place during their visit.

We shall be pleases to assist residents and their families to maintain religious or political requirements.
Belmont View recognises the beliefs of individual residents and will help organise attendance at a religious service internally or externally.
